From clinical fundamentals to your first job interview, we prepare you for everything the dental industry requires.

  1. Week 1: Foundations (Online)

    Introduction to dental assisting, professionalism and communication.

  2. Week 2: Impressions & Charting (Online)

    Alginate impressions and model trimming.

  3. Week 3: RINN & Vital Signs (Online)

    RINN film/sensor holder assembly and placement.

  4. Week 4: Composites, Periodontics (Online)

    Composite procedures, periodontal concepts and charting treatment plans.

  5. Week 5: In-Person Labs (Saturday)

    Operatory setup + PPE + infection control basics (setup/disinfection/handwashing).

  6. Week 6: In-Person Labs (Sunday)

    Model trimming/polishing (angles, thickness, void fill, finish quality).

  7. Week 7: Pediatric Dentistry (Online)

    Pediatric dentistry and growth assessment.

  8. Week 8: Rubber Dam & Endodontics (Online)

    Rubber dam setup and removal.

  9. Week 9: Preventive & Orthodontics (Online)

    Preventive dentistry principles.

  10. Week 10: Review & Pediatric Care Labs (Online)

    Review of tooth numbering, restorative dentistry, periodontics and sealants.

A Typical Week

Online Instructor-Led Sessions

2 hours per week of live, instructor-led online sessions where you'll learn the theory and skills behind dental assisting — guided by expert instructors with at least 75% attendance required.

Guided Self-Study

About 7 hours per week of structured assignments and materials you'll work through on your own time. Designed to fit around your life, all spread across the 10 weeks of the program.

In-Person Lab Weekends

Two intensive lab weekends give you hands-on practice with operatory setup, impressions, infection control, and more — using the same equipment you'll use on the job. 36 lab hours total, plus a 40-hour externship at a local dental office.
